NBC announced Tuesday that Colin Jost and Michael Che have been named co-head writers of Saturday Night Live. The pair join current top writers Kent Sublette and Bryan Tucker following the departure of Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider. They also join a venerable roster of other “Weekend Update” anchors who became head writers, including Tina Fey and Seth Meyers.
