Outgoing Congressman Steve Stockman was subpoenaed on Thursday by a federal grand jury conducting a criminal investigation, along with two of his aides. The House Ethics Committee is already probing Stockman for possible campaign reporting violations. Details regarding the subpoena have not yet been publicized, and it is unclear whether it is related to the House investigation. Stockman staffers Donny Ferguson and Prentice Leblanc received formal subpoenas with the Congressman on the House chamber floor. An Office of Congressional Ethics report that came out in June alleges that Stockman's office reported campaign donations from two employees as having been made by their family members. It also acccusses Stockman of paying the two employees as full-time staff, when they only performed part-time work.
