Glenn Reynolds, a law professor at the University of Tennessee who writes for USA Today and tweets under the handle @Instapundit, has had his column suspended for a month after tweeting a questionable reaction to protests in Charlotte on Wednesday night. His Twitter account was briefly suspended as well after he tweeted "Run them down" with a picture of protesters blocking vehicles. "I have always supported peaceful protests, speaking out against police militarization and excessive police violence in my USA TODAY columns, on my website and on Twitter itself," Reynolds wrote in an apology. "I understand why people misunderstood my tweet and regret that I was not clearer."
