Jason Goldberg

  • In 2010, after years in product design and even a stint in Bill Clinton's administration, Goldberg founded Fab.com, a design-centric e-commerce site that capitalizes on social media and customer-tracking methods.

Michael Yanover

  • Yanover has been head of business development at Creative Artists Agency since 2003. He oversees the company’s Digital Media group, which helps clients by using technology and new media.

Hayley Barna and Katia Beauchamp

  • The cofounders of Birchbox, which sends subscribers samples of beauty products, then lets them shop online, first met at Harvard Business School. Since it launched in 2010, the startup has attracted more than 100,000 subscribers.

Bo Fishback

  • Fishback is CEO and cofounder of Zaarly.com, a platform to buy and sell local services that was conceived as part of a Startup Weekend event. He was previously vice president of entrepreneurship for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.

Jess Lee and Pasha Sadri

  • Lee and Sadri came up with Polyvore.com to “democratize fashion.” The site, which says it has 15 million visitors a month, lets users share collagelike sets of images of clothing, accessories, and other fashion items.
