Honesty is an integral factor in the Newsweek Green Rankings. Each company is evaluated on the degree to which it discloses its environmental impact, as well as whether it participates in overarching initiatives like the Carbon Disclosure Project or the Global Reporting Initiative. The 15 companies who made this list are leading the transparency charge.
These leaders were selected from this year's Green Rankings, assembled in collaboration with research partners Trucost and Sustainalytics. Companies were ranked based on their performance across three factors, one of which was transparency and disclosure.
