Jim Neal ran for the US Senate in North Carolina's Democratic primary in 2008, the second gay person to ever mount a senatorial campaign. Jim's been a featured guest on NPR, Fox, CBS and CNBC and a lecturer at The New School on politics and media. He lives in Chapel Hill with his two sons.
