Matt Tyrnauer is the director and producer of Valentino The Last Emperor. He is a Special Correspondent at Vanity Fair magazine, where he has worked since 1992. His articles include profiles of Martha Stewart (the 2005 post-prison cover story), Frank Gehry, Robert Evans, Philippe Stark, and architect John Woolf. Tyrnauer studied film at Wesleyan University.
