Robert Maguire is the Outside Spending Researcher at the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan, non-profit organization that tracks money in politics. He started the Center’s Shadow Money Trail project that has uncovered $200 million going to politically active nonprofit organizations since the 2010 Citizen’s United decision.
