Wayne Barrett is a Newsweek/Daily Beast contributor and a fellow at the Nation Institute. He is the author of a number of books, including Rudy!, an investigative biography of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, and a biography of Donald Trump. Barrett began his career at The Village Voice in 1973, where he covered city politics and local government for nearly four decades.
