Zach is a former Marine infantry officer. A 2001 graduate of CornellUniversity, he did two tours in Iraq and is currently writing anddirecting a documentary film about counterinsurgency, Al AnbarProvince, and moral ambiguity in modern war. He likes to spend timein Brooklyn with his relocated Iraqi translator, Abood.
