The Texas police officer who fatally shot an unarmed 19-year-old in a car dealership has been fired, said Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson. Johnson said during a press conference Tuesday afternoon that officer Brad Miller shot Christian Taylor when Taylor began to approach the officer. There was never any physical contact between the two. Miller, who recently graduated from a police academy, responded to the burglary call with his training officer. The training officer used a Taser, while the Miller fired his gun. Johnson said it will be up to a grand jury to decide if Miller should be charged criminally.
