This sounds like the plot of a Hollywood movie. Los Angeles police have reopened the case of actress Natalie Wood, who drowned in the Pacific Ocean in 1981. Wood, who became an icon in films like Splendor in the Grass and Rebel Without a Cause, drowned while boating with husband Robert Wagner and Christopher Walken. She was found wearing a parka, which is thought to have filled with water. Though the case is shrouded in mystery, Time magazine reported that she was “full of wine” and she fell off a “quarter-million-dollar-yacht in her nightgown.” Walken and Wagner, a few yards away, were “oblivious.”
