The judge presiding over the Bill Cosby sexual assault trial rejected the defense’s second motion for a mistrial after 40 hours of jury deliberation. Jurors on Friday morning asked the judge a question for the seventh time since deliberations began on Monday. They were read the definition of “reasonable doubt” and excerpts from Cosby’s 2005 deposition in a civil suit filed against him by accuser Andrea Constand. The judge then instructed the jurors to continue deliberating.
