Mike Huckabee isn’t the only 2012 presidential hopeful whose campaign could be troubled by a criminal he showed leniency to: Two years ago, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty was part of a panel that pardoned a man who had sex with a 14-year-old girl, whom he later married. However, the man, Jeremy Geifer, is now accused of sexually assaulting a second girl hundreds of times, both before and after his pardon. Pawlenty voted for the pardon because the man and girl “became husband and wife, maintained a long-term marriage, had a family together,” according to his spokesman.
