An avalanche in central Italy that crushed the Rigopiano hotel has now killed 14 people, as rescuers keeping working—six days after the disaster—to search for the missing. An additional 15 people are unaccounted for in the snow and rubble. Officials found another at least six bodies within just a few hours on Tuesday. "Logically, hopes fade as time passes, but we are continuing to search and trying to do it as quickly as possible," said fire official Alberto Maiolo. On Tuesday, search crews were able to reach the hotel's bar and kitchen area, where many of the bodies were found. There were no signs of life, he said.
