Bloomberg reported on Wednesday that female CEOs at the nation’s largest companies earned, on average, 40 percent more than men in 2009. Was their report misleading? Mary Ellen Egan at Forbes points out that there are only 16 female CEOs compared to 474 male CEOs. The small sample size allows a few highly paid women to skew the results.
