Dozens of people were killed Friday after two large explosions rocked Iraq outside of a Sunni mosque in Baquba—50 miles north of Baghdad. The twin explosions were set off right as worshipers at the Saria mosque were leaving a prayer ceremony. The attack is just the latest in a string of violent incidents against Sunni and Shia religious sites. Just one day previous, 12 people were killed after a bomb erupted at the entrance to a Shia place of worship in Kirkuk.
