The three al Jazeera journalists jailed in Egypt will be getting a new trial after the country's top court heard their appeal on Thursday. Peter Greste, Mohamed Fahmy and Baher Mohamed have been locked up for more than a year and are serving sentences of seven to 10 years. The prosecutors have acknowledged there were major issues in the original verdict, according to the journalists' lawyers, and a new trial will begin within the month.
