Residents on the Arizona town of Yarnell were advised to evacuate late Wednesday as a 400-acre wildfire raged in the area. While the blaze has so far destroyed only one building, memories of a 2013 wildfire in Yarnell that claimed the lives of 18 firefighters and ruined about 130 homes are still fresh in residents’ minds. A Red Cross shelter was offering spots to evacuees as firefighters continued to battle the fire and a nearby highway was shut down in the process. The cause of the fire is unknown.
