Andrée Putman, the interior designer to whom many major fashion houses turned for unique shop interiors, died Saturday morning at the age of 87. In the seventies, Putman founded Createurs & Industriels with Didier Grumbach—now the president of the Chambre Syndicale—to promote fashion and design.
