The airplane of an Indiana father and son attempting to fly around the globe crashed on Wednesday. Haris Suleman, 17, had recently acquired his pilot’s license. He and his father, Baber, were flying around the world to raise money for Citizens Foundation, a charity that builds schools in rural Pakistan. They had already made stops in England, Egypt, and Pakistan. Their two-seater Beech A36 Bonaza aircraft took off from Pago Pago in America Samoa on Wednesday before crashing. Haris’s body has been recovered, but rescuers are still looking for his father’s. The National Transportation Safety Board said they are investigating the unknown cause of the crash.
