Your tax dollars are keeping federal workers at home. According to an government records, there are tens of thousands of federal employees being paid for taking administrative leaves of one month or longer. Over three months last year, more than 57,000 were sent on paid leave for at least a month, waiting to be punishing for indiscretions or waiting to be reinsitated, raking up a tab of $775 million in salaries. Around 4,000 were kept home for three months to a year, and some were on leave for between one and three years.
