Roughly 100 to 150 inmates and correctional officers were hurt and two prisoners were killed when part of a county jail in Florida collapsed late Wednesday night. The collapse, which occurred while 600 inmates were in the building, was reportedly caused by a gas explosion. The region has been the recipient of tough weather patterns that have caused large amounts of flooding.
