Looks like outgoing quarterback Tim Tebow won’t be the only person missed at the University of Florida next year: Head football coach Urban Meyer surprised sports fans Saturday by announcing that he will step down after Florida plays Cincinnati in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day. Meyer cited health concerns as his reason—“I have ignored my health for years, but recent developments have forced me to re-evaluate my priorities of faith and family,” he said. Apparently, Meyer had to go to a hospital with chest pains after Alabama beat Florida in the Southeastern Conference championship on December 5. “I didn't want there to be a bad day where there were three kids sitting around wondering what to do next,” he said. Meyer has led Florida to two of the past three national championships.
