Legendary French Vogue Editor Carine Roitfeld—rumored to be a likely successor to Vogue Editor Anna Wintour—is stepping down. After working at the magazine for 10 years and creating "record levels of circulation and advertising and editorial success,” according to Conde Nast Chief Executive Jonathan Newhouse, Roitfeld said she is ready for a change of pace. “When everything is good, maybe I think it’s the time to do something else,” Roitfeld explained in an interview with The New York Times. She will finish out the issues until March and has not announced any plans after that.
