Best Dressed, Shining, Shimmering, Splendid: Halle Berry

It’s true: sometimes the right dress really does happen to the right person. Halle Berry was perfectly proportioned for a strapless, silver lace Dolce & Gabbana dress at the premiere of her new film, Cloud Atlas, on Wednesday.

Best Dressed Couple in Black Suits: Vladislav Doronin and Naomi Campbell

There was something so wonderfully throwback about the wide-lapel, black and white Alexander McQueen suit Naomi Campbell wore to the Skyfall London premiere on Tuesday—and her boyfriend (for whom she is reportedly planning a 50th birthday party in an Indian palace didn’t look so shabby either.

Best Dressed, Finally Looking Like Little Red Riding Hood: Amanda Seyfried

This vamped-up Little Red Riding Hood dress was spot-on for Seyfried as she maneuvered down the red carpet of the Hollywood Film Awards Gala in Los Angeles on Monday. It’s a red bustier dress from Prabal Gurung’s Resort 2013 collection, which she wore with a Judith Leiber clutch, Dana Rebecca earrings, and Jimmy Choo heels.

Best Dressed, Serving Up Some Raf: Marion Cotillard

There’s something about her hair that slightly resembles a pair of horns, but otherwise, Cotillard’s look at the Hollywood Film Awards was fantastic: a purple strapless couture look by Raf Simons for Christian Dior.

Best Dressed Costars, James Bond Edition: Naomie Harris and Daniel Craig

She’s a newcomer, to be sure, but that didn’t stop Naomie Harris (who stars in Skyfall) from wearing an eye-catching dress by talented British designer Marios Schwab at the film’s London premiere—with a sequined bodice that made her look a little bit like a mermaid underneath. (She paired the dress with shoes by another British designer, Nicholas Kirkwood.) Craig fittingly wore a Tom Ford suit, with a navy jacket with black lapels and black pants.

Best Dressed, Even if She Forgot a Smock: Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington can pretty much do no wrong in our opinion—and this Monique Lhuillier paint-splashed dress was all the more proof. She wore the dress with Borgioni earrings, a Louis Vuitton clutch, and black satin pumps. Done and done. Over and out.

Worst Dressed, At Least Her Boobs Remembered to Wear Sunglasses: Mena Suvari

At the New York bash for Maison Martin Margiela’s collaboration with H&M, Suvari wore a bizarre tromp l’oeil bodysuit—which was, well, difficult not to notice. But overall, the ensemble wasn’t terrible—and she paired it with a metallic candy-wrapper clutch from the collection.

Worst Dressed, Fallen From Grace: Elisabeth Moss

Are shorts and heels really ever OK? We’re on the fence on that one. But there’s something so Halloweeny about this look: like she’s gotten into costume and daring everyone to guess what it is. A devil in mini-shorts? And what happened to the blond hair?

Worst Dressed, For Wearing a Kardashian-y Bathing Suit Coverup on the Red Carpet: Vanessa Hudgens

It really looks like the kind of dress Kim Kardashian would put on over a bathing suit for a brief photoshoot of herself in the bathroom mirror. But no: Hudgens wore it as outerwear (in New York, in October) on the (pink) carpet for The Carrie Diaries premiere.
