Best Dressed, American in Paris: Leelee Sobieski

Well, we haven’t see you in a while: Leelee Sobieski appeared emerged in the middle of Paris Fashion Week for a front-row spot at the Dior show—wearing, fittingly, a red Dior coatdress with a gold belt that looked pretty swell.

Best Dressed, a Well-Placed Petal: Abbie Cornish

At the premiere of her film Seven Psycopaths on Monday night in L.A., the actress wore an extremely low-cut (but still lovely) floral appliqué dress by Reem Acra.

Best Dressed, With Ruffled Socks: Jennifer Lopez and Emme Anthony

No matter that Jennifer Lopez wore head-to-toe Chanel for her visit to the front row of the Chanel show this week. The real star was her 4-year-old daughter, Emme Anthony, who reportedly wore $2,400 worth of Chanel goods. No word yet on the ruffled socks.

Best Dressed, Legs Avenue: Chloë Sevigny

Who says pink hotpants aren’t perfect for Paris in October? Chloë Sevigny showed up at the Miu Miu show on the final day of Paris Fashion Week looking, well, very Chloë Sevigny. Tiny Miu Miu shorts, a mishmash of cool prints, and big ol’ clunky heels. The best part of this entire outfit, of course, is the expression on the security guard’s face.

Best Dressed, Pretty in Pink: Anne Hathaway

You’d think that Anne Hathaway’s wedding dress would be, say, whitebut you can’t always assume. The Valentino-designed gown, which Hathaway wore for her Saturday nuptials in Big Sur, Calif., actually was a shade of pale pink—and came with a somewhat toilet-paper-like headpiece to match.

Best Dressed, but Showing Serious Skin: Karlie Kloss

Karlie Kloss showed up at Le Bal, hosted by Carine Roitfeld and Mac Cosmetics in Paris on Tuesday night, in an Alexander Wang dress straight off his spring runway, but one thing’s for sure: with those full-dress slits, there’s no wearing underwear with this one. Which means there are about 50 people in the world who might be able to wear this: Karlie Kloss and the 49 other top models out there.

You Decide, a Million Little Peepholes: Natalia Vodianova

At the splashy 100th-anniversary party for Maison Vionnet on Sunday, model Natalia Vodianova looked stunning in a black leather peplum dress combo. But upon second glance, the dress seemed rife with fish scales. Love it, hate it, eat it for protein?

You Decide: Lady Gaga Repeats History

This week, Lady Gaga turned up in the Versace safety-pin dress that put Elizabeth Hurley on the map in 1994. Sure, it’s an eyeful—but it’s a surprise to see the queen of futuristic dressing repeating the past.

Worst Dressed: Lena Dunham Forgot Her Pants

Sure, judging from the amount of time Hannah Horvath spends naked on Girls, it is clear Lena Dunham doesn't mind going around without pants. Still, it was a bit of a surprise when she appeared to be pants-less on the red carpet of a culinary event hosted by HBO in L.A. last week.

Worst Dressed, Out to Pasture: Giovanna Battaglia

A usually spot-on style star, Giovanna Battaglia opted for a positively bovine print for Vionnet’s ball in Paris.

Worst Dressed, Tetris Edition: Leigh Lezark

As pants or a shirt, sure, but wearing them together? The Misshapes’ Leigh Lezark caused a dizzying effect as she walked into the Giambattista Valli show in Paris on Monday.

Worst Dressed, MC Hammer Style: Jessica Alba

It must be an off week for Alba. At the Environmental Media Awards this week in Burbank, Calif., she wore a black and white ensemble that was too matchy-matchy—down to the toes—harem pants, and a weird semi-bra underneath.
