It should come as no surprise by now that Gaddafi's forces are fighting dirty, but this is something new. NATO says its warships intercepted several boats laying anti-shipping mines outside the harbor of the besieged Libyan city of Misrata. "This is another clear demonstration of Gaddafi's regime to completely ignore international law, and also an effort, it must be seen, to prevent humanitarian assistance going into the port of Misrata to help the beleaguered population and those that need to be brought out," said British Brig. General Rob Weighill. Meanwhile Gaddafi loyalists fought rebels in the Tunisian town of Dubeiba, near the border. One witness said Libyan troops pushed rebel fighters across the border into Tunisia and fought there until Tunisian military captured or drove back Gaddafi's forces. The Tunisian government said it is extremely concerned about Gaddafi and wants “immediate measures to halt such violations” of Tunisian territory.
