The Season 3 premiere of AMC’s Mad Men is more than two weeks away, but the show’s loyal fan base (which now includes pretty much anyone with cable) is already salivating over the return of Don Draper and Joan Holloway—and this week, AMC threw them a tiny nugget of hope. “ Mad Men Yourself,” a program on AMC’s Web site that allows users to transform themselves into ’60s-retro cartoon characters, has spread like wildfire. Millions of Mad Men avatars have invaded Facebook profiles and Twitter icons in just two days. Don’t be the last one to have your Mad Men-ed self as your iPhone background—and trust us, if you wait another day to try it, you will be that person. (Bonus: That’s your author on the left—not perfect, but at the very least it reflects my love of overaccessorizing).
