"People just think Anna and I go out and spend a lot of money and things come very easy, but it's not like that. I think the recession has meant we've all come back to reality, which I don't mind at all. I spent 20 years at British Vogue where they had very little money and still created beautiful pictures. It's like Annie Leibovitz, she's not easy to work with but she's a major photographer who takes extraordinary pictures, but you just don't need excess to create beauty."
