What the Wild Things Wear

Wild headgear and hairstyles calling to mind Max's wolf ears and the Wild Things' horns have surfaced on runways and red carpets alike. A model with hair fashioned like a pair of horns showed up on Marc Jacobs' neon ridden Fall/Winter runway. The designer also outfitted Madonna in a pair of bunny ears in the latest Louis Vuitton ads - a style H&M subsequently picked up on, putting model Sasha Pivovarova in a bunny ear-like bow for their 2009 ads. Meanwhile, the Olsen twins are showing their support: the pair sported lace ears courtesy of designer Maison Michel to Opening Ceremony's recent Tokyo boutique opening. But they weren't the first. Lady Gaga wears the same porn-appropriate pair on the cover of NEO2 magazine's September issue.
