Last week, Glamour magazine model Lizzi Miller was just a plus-size stock image girl; now she’s the new face of American beauty. Editor in chief Cindi Leive dared—gasp—to put a nude photo of Miller, belly roll and all, inside the magazine’s September issue, and readers went nuts. In a good way of course. In days, Glamour’s blog was flooded with comments on how beautiful Miller’s body, in all its soft, stretch-marked imperfection, really was, and how they hoped to see more realistic women on the pages of magazines. Miller and Leive did the talk-show rounds, and this week, Leive announced that there will be an entire feature of full-figured models in Glamour’s November issue.
