There may only be four episodes left of the ‘80s revivals and guest stars that made up the widely adored first season of
Glee, but for some lucky fans across America, the show is coming to them. The Glee Live! in Concert tour begins in Phoenix, Arizona this weekend and Rachel, Finn, Kurt, Puck, Quinn, Santana, Brittany, Mercedes, Artie, Tina, Mike, and Matt will be making the rounds for the four-city engagement. After its first stop in Phoenix this weekend, the tour will hit Universal City, California, for four nights and spend two more in Rosemont, Illinois, before putting on a whopping five shows at New York’s Radio City Musical Hall during Memorial Day weekend. “The response of the fans to our little show has been so immediate and so gratifying, we wanted to get out and thank them
live and in person,”
Glee creator Ryan Murphy said in a statement. “We can’t wait to take this show on the road.” With expected performances to include “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Somebody to Love,” and “Sweet Caroline,” Gleeks’ heads may be exploding. “If you had told me a year ago that I’d be performing classic-rock songs in concert theaters around the country, I would never have believed you,” Cory Monteith, who plays Finn, said. “We are psyched!”
