Balenciaga: Spanish Master
," opens on November 19 at the Queen Sofia Spanish Institute in New York. The show will consist of works exclusively by Cristobal Balenciaga between 1937 and 1968, and will address the influences on his designs. The exhibition was conceived by Oscar de la Renta and curated by Vogue's Hamish Bowles, who also wrote the show's forthcoming catalogue,

which will be published by Rizzoli in March.
