Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen

Once you’ve had sex with a hot apple pie, a threesome with a prostitute doesn’t sound quite so kinky. But this week, Jason Biggs’s wife, actress Jenny Mollen, revealed that she hired a “whore” as a birthday present for her husband. Writing for Playboy’s site, The Smoking Jacket, Mollen chronicles several attempts to find a woman for Biggs—including a massage therapist who only wanted to work on back pain—but the overall experience turned out to be a disappointment for Mollen. “I think it was pretty obvious that my husband and I were both bored,” she wrote of the experience. “He quickly became flaccid and we were left with nothing to do but stare at each other.” But Biggs seemed pleased. “My wife is in Playboy,” he tweeted. “Hot.”

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore

While reports abound about the demise of Ashton Kutcher’s marriage to Demi Moore, back in 2010 a woman named Brittney Jones claimed to have had a kosher affair with Kutcher because of a loophole. “Ashton said he and Demi have an open relationship and have threesomes often,” Jones told RadarOnline. “[Ashton] said they share women, but he isn’t supposed to go off and sleep with women on his own. He explained that he and Demi had a deal where they had to share lovers. He felt bad that he had been with me and didn’t share.” After all, sharing is caring.

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller

Considering Charlie Sheen was living with two goddesses at one point during his meltdown this year, it would be shocking to learn he wasn’t having sex with two women at once. (For that matter, two and a half women.) As one of the goddesses, Natalie Kenley, admitted to the New York Post: “Our bed is big enough for all three of us, and we take turns sleeping in the middle. If someone’s really tired, there’s always a place for them to sleep in peace.” Meanwhile, the other goddess, Bree Olsen, admitted the she once had a threesome with Sheen and his then-wife, Brooke Mueller. “I didn't mind it,” she told Access Hollywood. “She's hot.”

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart

There’s a reason he’s known as McSteamy. In 2009, Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane was caught in a scandal when a video surfaced of him and his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, cavorting naked with Kari Anne Peniche, a former Miss Teen USA who was stripped of her title after posing for Playboy. Dane and Gayheart’s lawyer dismissed the tape because no actual sex was recorded: "At most, it's three people maybe wanting to have sex," attorney Marty Singer said.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

In May 2007, a Star magazine cover story promised “the truth” behind a “Brad & Angelina Threesome.” And while the lead was tantalizing—“Seriously sexy Victoria's Secret model Karolina Kurkova was the filling in a Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie cannoli, according to a scandalous new report”—the rest of the story went on to question whether such a ménage à trois actually occurred. Then again, Jolie has been the subject of several tawdry rumors, including one that she was having an affair with her own brother.

Jack Kerouac and Neal Cassady

In 1952, Neal Cassady tried to persuade his friend Jack Kerouac to have a “three-way ball” with him and his wife, Carolyn. While the shy Kerouac couldn’t go through with the sex, he did turn the scene into fiction. In the forthcoming movie version of On the Road, Kristen Stewart’s character reportedly has a hot threesome with Sal Paradise (modeled on Kerouac) and Dean Moriarty (based on Cassady.)

Jane Fonda and Roger Vadim

In her 2005 memoir, My Life So Far, Jane Fonda revealed that her ex-husband, French director Roger Vadim, frequently bullied her into having sex with other women. "For me with Roger Vadim, that meant bringing other women into our bed," Fonda wrote. "It seems shocking that I did that, but I managed to convince myself that it was fine, that I wanted to, even though it was killing my heart." Fonda claimed Vadim also insisted she find other women for sex using techniques she learned while making Klute, in which she won an Oscar for playing a prostitute.

Tiger Woods

When it came to extramarital sex partners, Tiger Woods reportedly loved going one over par. “He was rarely with just one girl. He usually wanted more. He liked three-ways," Hollywood madam Michelle Braun told the New York Daily News in 2009. "He could go for days. He'd pay a flat rate for an evening, but an evening would usually be extended. The girls would talk about his stamina."

Lady Gaga

In the Saturday Night Live digital short “Threeway (The Golden Rule),” Lady Gaga had a hilarious fictional ménage à trois with Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg. But later that week, Mother Monster was asked on the Detroit radio show “Mojo in the Morning” if she had ever had a threesome in real life. "Umm, well, I suppose I have, yes,” she admitted. “I don't want to reveal too much. I just can say the truth.” Gaga kept up her poker face and refused to share the gender of the participants.

Henry and June Miller

In what is the most famous love triangle in literary history, Henry Miller and his wife, June, shared their bed with the French author Anaïs Nin. Though the 1931 relationship didn’t last long, both Miller and Nin wrote about the affair, most notably Nin’s Henry & June, which became a 1990 movie starring Uma Thurman and Fred Ward—the first film to be given an NC-17 rating.
