If you’re trying to practice some degree of restraint around the candy bowl this season, it’s helpful to know which treats are the most fattening. So, for the second year, The Daily Beast examines the nutrition facts of some of the most popular Halloween confections.
This year we considered only the miniature-size version of the treats. Each candy was ranked based on calories, saturated fat, carbohydrates, and sugar—four nutritional factors that were equally weighted. All serving sizes are based on what the manufacturers recommended.
