New Year’s Eve Celebrations Around the World

A kaleidoscope of fireworks designed by Marc Newson explode over the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the first New Year's celebration of 2012. Over one and a half million Sydneysiders lined the harbour vantage points to watch the spectacular pyrotechnic display.
