The 2012 World Economic Forum at Davos kicked off Wednesday, as global leaders got down to business trying to fix the economy. German Chancellor Angela Merkel delivered a sobering speech, asking for more time to solve the European debt crisis. But it wasn’t all gloom and doom. Stars, pundits, and policymakers joined Newsweek/The Daily Beast and Credit Suisse for a bit of merriment in honor of 2011 Nobel laureate Leymah Gbowee.
