‘SNL’ vet Victoria Jackson had a complete meltdown when she found out that Mitt Romney had lost. From Trump’s apoplectic call for revolution to Cher’s ecstatic tweets, see more hilarious celebrity reactions to Obama’s win.
election is over. President Obama won handily. Now all that’s left is the post-race brooding—or gloating—depending on which candidate you favored. And celebrities aren’t shy about voicing their opinions—no matter how outrageous they might be. From Ted Nugent to Cher, check out eight of the craziest responses to the election results.
Saturday Night Live alum Victoria Jackson had what can only be classified as a full-on Twitter meltdown in response to Mitt Romney’s big loss. “I can’t stop crying,” she tweeted. Her next message: “America died.” Just to make sure people understood her feelings, she followed up with this one: “I can’t stop crying. America died.” Then Jackson posted this gem on Facebook: “The Democrat party who voted God out of their platform … won. In the Good vs. Evil Battle, today ... evil won.” In the end, she blamed Christians. “Thanks a lot, Christians, for not showing up. You disgust me,” she tweeted.

Poor Ted Nugent. It may be a matter of time until
his head explodes. The Nuge took to Twitter to express his displeasure with the fact that Obama won a second term. A few highlights: “I cry tears of blood for The Last Best Place & the warriors who died for this tragedy” and, “What subhuman varmint believes others must pay for their obesity booze cellphones birthcontrol abortions & lives.” Nugent also took the opportunity to call Obama voters “soulless fools” who voted for “economic and spiritual suicide.” Slight upside: now that Obama has been reelected, we’ll get to find out whether Nugent will die or get thrown in jail, as he predicted earlier this year.

Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z are big Obama supporters. They threw him a
lavish fundraiser in September where guests paid $40,000 per person to attend. So it’s no surprise that Beyoncé was a little excited that the president cruised to his second term on Tuesday. The singer posted a picture of a piece of paper with a simple message: “TAKE THAT MITCHES.”

Donald Trump has been fighting his slide toward irrelevance since he flirted with the idea of running for president himself earlier in the campaign. Trump, who assured media outlets his investigators were unearthing amazing things about the president, tried to inject himself into the last days of the campaign when he released a video saying he would give $5 million to Obama’s charity of choice if the White House released the president’s transcripts and passport applications. The gambit didn’t work, and Trump’s candidate lost the election. Of course, the Donald was apoplectic, calling the election “a total sham and a travesty.” The reality show host called for revolution, saying, “We are not a democracy.”

When Mitt Romney said during the first debate that he wanted to fire Big Bird in order to ease the strain of federal coffers, at least a thousand Internet memes were born. But our large yellow feathered friend got the last laugh. As Adam Levine pointed out, Mitt Romney lost and Big Bird is still standing. “That’s what happens when you f**k with Sesame Street,” the singer
colorfully tweeted after the results were in.

As one of Obama’s campaign co-chairs, Eva Longoria stumped for the president every chance she got. So she was a
little excited when Obama won his second term. “I’m in tears! Moving the country forward!!! Obama!!!” the actress tweeted.

It took country singer Sarah Evans a little while for the news that Romney lost
to sink in. Tweeted Evans: “I am completely in shock right now! This SUCKS! Where is this country heading? We might as well prepare for a million trillion $ in debt!”

Cher didn’t—or maybe couldn’t—hold back her excitement that Obama won. “OMG OMG HE DID IT ! HE DID IT ! IM CRYING !!! THANK GOD HE DID IT !!!!!!” she tweeted Tuesday night. But OMG, there’s more: “OMG ! IM SO HAPPY ! THIS IS ONE OF THE GREAT NITES OF MY LIFE !!!! TEARS R STREAMING DOWN MY FACE ! WOMEN WE HAVE A CHAMPION !!!” And in case all that wasn’t clear, Cher then
tweeted that it was one of the best nights of her life. Her excitement didn’t abate by Wednesday when she posted this message to the Twittersphere: “INCLUSION 4 ALL ! I WANT TO SAY 1 THING ! “THANK YOU WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON !” Bill, IT COULDN’T HAVE HAPPENED WITHOUT YOU ! U SHINE.” Someone should probably tell her to snap out of it. again
