"It girls" may come and go, but the inimitable Kate Moss has survived the test of time. Best known for her "heroin chic" look, Moss established herself on countless runways and major campaigns for designers including Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, Calvin Klein, Gucci, and Burberry, and dozens more. Since she was discovered in 1988 at age 14, Moss took the 1990s by storm, emerging as one of the most important and recognized fashion icons of the decade. Having been a muse for the industry's top photographers—including the likes of Steven Klein, Mario Testino, and Peter Lindbergh—Christie's is now auctioning off 58 of Moss's most iconic photographs. According to the auction house, the entire collection is estimated to be worth between $2.145 million and $3.25 million—one of the images by Allen Jones entitled Kate in Red, could possibly earn $389,000 alone. (The auction takes place on September 25 at Christie's on King Street in London).
