George W. Bush is "in high spirits" following a successful surgery Tuesday morning. The 67-year-old, who, other than a low heart rate diagnosis, was pretty healthy during his presidency, was undergoing an annual physical Monday when his doctor discovered a blocked artery. A Bush spokesman said the former president is "eager to return home tomorrow and resume his normal schedule on Thursday."
