Tina Fey and Amy Poehler better practice their Mary Todd Lincoln impersonations. The Golden Globes nominations were announced Thursday morning, with Lincoln dominating with seven nods. Argo, Django Unchained, Zero Dark Thirty, Lincoln and Life of Pi were nominated for Best Drama. For Best Musical or Comedy, the nominees are Les Miserables, Moonrise Kingdom, Silver Linings Playbook, Salmon Fishing in Yemen, and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. As for television, Smash scored a surprise nomination for Best Musical or Comedy, alongside The Big Bang Theory, Episodes, Girls, and Modern Family. On the drama side, former winner Mad Men was shockingly snubbed, with Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, Homeland, andThe Newsroom all scoring nods instead.
