Whither the Wall Street CEOs? Gregory Maffei, the CEO of Liberty Media, was the highest-paid CEO in the U.S., enjoying an $87.1 million paycheck, according to a new survey The Wall Street Journal. Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle, was No. 2 with $68.6 million, and Occidental Petroleum’s Ray Irani was No. 3. The list measured CEO pay at the 456 biggest U.S. companies during the past fiscal year. Overall, CEO pay has risen 3 percent during the past fiscal year, and bonuses soared by 11 percent.
