U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is reportedly open to meeting with the families of the victims of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks to discuss whether their phones were hacked by journalists from Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. The FBI has been investigating a report by Britain’s Daily Mirror that alleged The News of the World hacked into the phones of some families. New York attorney Normal Siegel, who represents Sept. 11th family members in three legal cases, sent letters Monday requesting meetings with Holder, FBI Director Robert Mueller, and U.S. Representative John Conyers, the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee.
