The giant wildfire burning in California was started by a hunter who "allowed an illegal fire to escape," California fire officials said. They did not identify the hunter and said no arrests have been made. The so-called Rim or Yosemite fire began on August 17 and grew to 237,000 acres, the fifth-largest in state history. The fire is now 80 percent contained, and has thus far avoided any of the iconic attractions in Yosemite National Park.
