The Tehran bureau chief of The Washington Post has been indicted by Iranian judicial authorities on secret charges, a prosecutor announced Wednesday. Jason Rezaian has been held in prison for more than five months without access to a lawyer and forced to sleep on a concrete floor. He was officially charged on Dec. 6 with alleged “activities outside the bounds of journalism,” his brother and mother said recently. Nothing else is known about the charges. Iran said Rezaian has been moved to the Revolutionary Court for “processing.”
