The commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard on Saturday mocked Saudi Arabia's offer to send troops to Syria. "[The Saudis] have made such a claim but I don't think they are brave enough to do so ... Even if they send troops, they would be definitely defeated ... it would be suicide,” said Mohammad Ali Jafari. Jafari's words are just the latest provocation in a long-standing rival between the two countries.
