The deadline for reaching a nuclear deal with Iran came and went Tuesday, but the U.S. said talks would go on for at least one more day. Negotiations in Lausanne, Switzerland overnight did not produce a working agreement for Iran’s nuclear program as talks entered the final day. Diplomats from the U.S., Britain, China, France, Germany, and Russia met separately and then with Iran’s foreign minister, in attempt to reach a framework for the final accord. The talks have been twice extended since an interim deal was reached in November 2013. Earlier, the AP quoted officials saying the talks would be extended until the final June 30 deadline is reached.
