Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi arrived in Mosul on Sunday to declare victory in the fight against ISIS there. Abadi declared the city liberated and congratulated Iraqi troops for successfully pushing out the militants. Reuters reported earlier Sunday that remaining ISIS fighters desperately jumped into the Tigris river to escape. ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi declared the terror group’s caliphate in Mosul in 2014.
