The fans—and America—have spoken. Actor and Iraq War vet J. R. Martinez was crowed the winner of this season’s Dancing With the Stars. Ricki Lake, who scored highest but did not advance to the final two, and Rob Kardashian were his competition. Martinez and Kardashian duked it out with an “instant samba,” which earned both perfect scores. It wasn’t an easy victory for Martinez: he had been favored to win all season, and just last week he twisted his ankle.
